Supporting specialist family violence organisations and practitioners

We are looking for a Social Worker. This role is within the SHCSS and involves Crisis Intervention for people who have been affected by sexual harm by providing a safe and high quality response to clients during and immediately following a crisis.

This is a fixed-term contract until April 2026 to cover an internal secondment of a staff member. This role is for a registered social worker or *registered professional. You will be working directly with women and children, providing individual support such as safety planning and risk assessments

The NGO Co-ordinator will actively partner across the social sector and will spend time co-located within agencies growing connections and networks to ensure connected, effective responses are planned and carried out for all whanau affected by family harm within a multi-agency framework.
